Democrat Baseball Team Broke Out In Prayer for GOP Colleagues After Shooting

A beautiful sight: Democrats broke out in prayer for their GOP colleagues after the shooting of their baseball team.

It took a horrible crime to get us here but after the shooting of a republican baseball team, the GOP has been receiving support from democrats! Unity of the parties is being seen on the news and at that baseball field where the democrat baseball team broke out in prayer for their GOP colleagues.

From Young Conservatives:

Rep. Mo Brooks (R, AL) reported that House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R, LA) was shot in the hip. He also reported that two Capitol Police officers on protective detail and an unidentified Republican staffer were also shot.

In addition, Rep. Roger Williams (R, TX) was injured as he dived into the concrete dugout to escape the flying bullets.

But soon after the Capitol Police downed the shooter, Democrats broke in prayer when it was again safe, The Hill newspaper reported.

Rep. Ruben J. Kihuen‏ (D, NE) quickly Tweeted out a photo saying that, “@HouseDemocrats praying for our @HouseGOP @SenateGOP baseball colleagues after hearing about the horrific shooting.”

I hope this is wake up call to both Democrats and Republicans. We may disagree on a lot, but there are many issues that bring us together like VA reform, tax reform and national security. When we wake up, we are Americans first.

Democrats have the power to change the attitudes of hate and violence against President Trump and supporters – it’s gone way too far! Time for dems and republicans to pass some laws to bring back the sanity of law and order to this country! Make America Safe Again!
